ZWS strives to carry out its waste disposal activities in an environmentally friendly manner. The following techniques we are used for waste disposal:

Recycling: Recycling is the process of converting waste materials into new materials and objects. ZWS outsources its recycling operations to responsible local operators for some waste types.

Thermal Treatment: It is a waste treatment process that involves the combustion of all organic substances contained in the waste material. Incineration of waste materials converts the waste into ash, flue gas and heat. It is limited to suitable materials only, subject to laws and guidelines.
Landfilling: A landfill is a government designated site for the burial of waste all non-recyclable waste materials.
